Biography
Called to the Bar in December 2019, Sarah-Elizabeth has advocated in innumerable matters before the Courts of our jurisdiction, gaining an invaluable wealth of knowledge beyond her years at the Bar. A recognized contributor to literary works published by the Caribbean Court of Justice Academy for Law, a prior Judicial Assistant to Judges of the Supreme Court of Jamaica, an awardee of the University of the West Indies and current student of the University of London Master of Laws program, Sarah-Elizabeth’s accolades reiterate her commitment to excellence.
Noteworthy Activity
➢ 2025 - Lead Counsel before the Court of Appeal in three (3) successful appeals e.g Sunbeam Children’s Home v Child Protection and Family Services Agency [2025] JMCA Civ 20
➢ 2025 - Successfully concluded estate settlement/disputes valuing, collectively, over $650 million JMD
➢ 2025 – Lead Counsel in several matrimonial property disputes between spouses valuing, collectively, over $300 million JMD
➢ 2025 – Estate/Succession planning for numerous estates valued, collectively, in excess of $400 million JMD
➢ Counsel responsible for winding up more than 30 estates of deceased
